Recently taking her first sabbatical in a very long time from recording and performing, Victoria has never known a busier time, essentially because of her commitment to "Making Music History"!! She's been writing and playing in bands since she was 12 years old and, when not in the studio, loves performing live - her performance arenas included the UK, Europe, Ireland and the US. After this time out she will return to doing just that. Never one to stand still Victoria, along with collaboraters, has a history of creating different music styles and presentations, each period producing work that will stand the test of time. As well as her poignant songwriting and beautiful looks her electric live performances "exude energy as she pounces, prowls and commands attention from her audience" The ups and downs of the pop world are well known and, like most artists, Victoria has plenty of experience of both. She handles the ups with enthusiasm and the downs with courage and defiance. "While others are angry, Victoria is disappointed but not really surprised". She always picks herself up, dusts herself down and reinvents herself and her music, her work being an ongoing lifelong process. "The self questioning analysis that comprises many of Victoria's lyrics - sometimes poignant, sometimes sad, sometimes ironic but always emotive - allows the listener to relate to their own experiences" |
